With this said, Hooshmand Paralegal also recognizes that impartial empathy is often necessary to remain focused upon the legal issues and to remain an objective advisor and negotiator. Hooshmand Paralegal helps tenants to resolve disputes by first reviewing the facts and issues and then by working to negotiate a resolution with the landlord. Hooshmand Paralegal offers representation services for Landlord and Tenant Board cases involving Allegations of Failure of Landlord to Properly Maintain Premises, among other things, as legal issues that fall within the purview of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006, S.O. 2006, Chapter 17. Failure to bring issues into the proper forum can result in a dismissal of proceedings and possibly with a loss of the right to redo or restart proceedings within the correct forum. Other matters, such as commercial tenancy cases as are always outside the jurisdiction of the Landlord Tenant Board , these may be litigated in the Small Claims Court depending on the legal issues involved and whether the matter is for less than the $35,000 per Plaintiff limit.
